The parade, which presented an impressive panorama of colors, imagination, inspiration and creation, started shortly after 2:00 in the afternoon, with the good weather as an ally. At the top was the band of the Patreon Municipality playing carnival rhythms.

Afterwards, more than 60,000 carnival-goers took over, members of the 181 crews of the “Hidden Treasure”, which constitute the “soul” of the paternal carnival.

With their colorful and impressive costumes, originality, aesthetics, satirical spirit, distinctive hats and accessories generously offered a unique spectacle.

At the same time, they unleashed their imagination, but also their creativity, since they were accompanied by their own carnival floats or large wheeled constructions. The parade, which lasted more than five hours, ended with the traditional and time-honored custom of throwing chocolates.
