The Spanish Paula Badosasecond favourite, has beaten the American Elizabeth Mandlik and advance to the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament of the WTA de San Jose (California).

Badosa subdued his rival in three sets by 6-2, 5-7, 7-6 (7/5) in two hours and 33 minutes. The Spanish hit seven aces on his serve as well as benefiting from nine double faults on his opponent’s serve.
