But, thanks to this update of the Social Security Law, from October It will no longer be necessary: ​​people who have worked part-time during their working life will be entitled to the same years as people who have worked full-time, thus correcting a historical inequality.

This measure especially benefits women and seeks to reduce the gender gap between men who maintain their jobs throughout their lives and women, who reduce their working hours to make motherhood compatible on many occasions.
