(ANSA) – ANCONA, JULY 25 – There are over 40 companies in the Marche region that supply electromedical equipment and other medical devices to hospitals and public health facilities and that will have to contribute to paying, together with other extra-regional companies that work with the Ast in the Marche region, 136 million euros, equal to 50% of the excess spending limits of the public hospital companies in the Region for the purchase of medical devices for the period between 2015 and 2018. This was announced in a press release from Cna Marche.
Following the rulings of the Constitutional Court against the Health Payback, “now the risk for these companies is to go into the red and close down”, says Marco Micucci, delegate for the Marche region of PMI Sanità, which brings together 200 companies. “In our opinion, these rulings have a more political than technical constitutional flavour”. PMI Sanità, supported by Cna Marche, asks the regional government to set up a consultation table with the companies that safeguards both the Marche health system and the balance sheets of the companies. “The Marche region, also by virtue of its proximity to the central government, must bring the crisis of the Marche companies to the table of the Meloni government, as had already been promised and approved by the entire regional council, with a unanimous and bipartisan resolution”, concludes Micucci.
