by time news

Paz Padilla is still assimilating the unexpected dismissal of Mediaset after 13 years at the network and after renewing her long-term contract with Telecinco last year. Last week several media outlets echoed the news and now the actress and presenter has announced that she is taking legal action for a dismissal that from her point of view is unfair. The actress has declared that she is not afraid of losing her job because she has always managed to work for one thing or another, but she will have to face two mortgages that total a debt of almost one million euros.

According to the magazine Readings, last year, after its renewal with Mediaset, the Cadiz presenter Paz Padilla signed two mortgages that add up to a total of 860,000 euros. Of that amount, 630,000 euros are for a loan that she requested from the bank last year to buy a wonderful 300-square-meter penthouse in Cádiz. The rest is from another loan that the actress requested a few days before, putting as collateral a family home that Padilla owns in Premià de Mar. The Cadiz woman lived here with her first husband and the father of her daughter, Albert Ferrer.

Padilla was able to buy the penthouse in Cádiz thanks to the succulent payroll he had on Telecinco after signing a long-term contract for four more years. With the money that the actress expected to earn during that time, she was going to pay for her new house, however, now she will have to find another way to deal with that debt.

The attic, as reported Readings, has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, dressing room and service area. But, according to the aforementioned magazine, this new property has also brought some other headache to the presenter. The rest of the owners of the building where Padilla’s new home is located are considering going to court for having built windows in a common area without permission from the community. But, the truth is that right now this is the least of the problems for Padilla.

The truth is that he does not lack work, at the moment he is on tour with his play the humor of my life and although the income in theater is lower than in television, for the time being he will surely be able to continue with the work and if not, he also has the new business project in the textile sector with his daughter, Anna Ferrer. Of course, for the moment they have been forced to close the store that they opened in 2019 in Zahara de los Atunes while waiting for the high season to arrive.

She also has a hotel house in El Barraco (Ávila) and a plot of land of 1,069 square meters in it and a single-family home in Premià de Mar. In addition, she owns an apartment in Villaviciosa de Odón that she acquired in 2010 and according to Readings He has a mortgage of 162,000 euros that expires in 2028. Paz Padilla sues Mediaset

The biggest headache for the presenter at the moment is the dismissal of Mediaset that she has branded as unfair. For this reason, she has sued the audiovisual company and the trial is scheduled for May 31 in the Social Court number 47 of Madrid. Padilla, as she has admitted in an interview with The vanguard, declares that Mediaset as a company has violated her rights as a worker. Of course, the lawsuit does not mean that she is grateful to Telecinco for the 13 years in which the comedian has been working without interruption.
