Coming fourth in the 2019 edition, the “rock mom” of Italian music returns to the Ariston for her twelfth participation in the Festival
Loredana Bertè is competing in Sanremo 2024 with the song «Pazza», an invitation to love yourself as you are. The “rock mom” of Italian music is her twelfth participation in the Festival: her last in 2019 (she took fourth place with “What do you expect from me”). «I’m going back to Sanremo because it’s the last one for Amadeus and I didn’t want to miss it – she said recently interviewed by Radio Italia -. The song is autobiographical, it talks about my character, how I am. If you take me, you take me sight unseen, the whole package, with defects and strengths.”

On the Sanremo stage, Loredana Bertè brings the determination that has always distinguished her in a hymn to the freedom to be oneself: «I’m always the girl/Who almost gets pissed off/Loving me isn’t easy», we read in the first lines . «Usually I hate myself quite a lot – she wrote on social media on the eve of the first evening -, but in this moment I love myself. I love myself desperately.” And in the song she proudly claims it: «Okay, I’m crazy, what’s up, what’s up / I’m crazy about myself, about me / And I want to shout it again».
