Aiming to produce young badminton players who can compete at the national level, PBSI Sumedang is again holding a regular youth badminton tournament.
This time, the organization led by Indra Jayaatmaja is again holding the PBSI Sumedang circuit for beginners. The activity, this time, took place at the Al Masoem Foundation venue.
Therefore, this circuit is titled PBSI Sumedang X Masoem Cup 2024. For the categories competed specifically for beginners. There are two numbers, namely Men’s Beginner Singles and Women’s Beginner Singles.
PBSI Sumedang X Masoem Cup 2024 will take place in Jatinangor, Cipacing, Sumedang, Sumedang Regency, West Java on August 10-11, 2024.
“One of the steps to be able to get young badminton seeds is to increase youth tournaments. That is a PBSI Sumedang program that is usually held every three months,” said Indra Jayaatmaja.
“We do have a PBSI Sumedang circuit program, so the clubs under PBSI Sumedang take turns to host,” said the son of the Sumedang region.
Furthermore, Indra said that until now the registration is still open. The enthusiasm of young badminton players is very high and it is estimated that hundreds of participants have registered.
