Jeddah: PCR or antigen results are mandatory for both those leaving Saudi Arabia and those entering Saudi Arabia. Results must be presented within 48 hours. The new rule was issued by the Saudi Interior Ministry.

All travelers over the age of 8 arriving and departing in Saudi Arabia must submit a PCR test or an approved antigen test within 48 hours to produce a negative result. The law will take effect on February 9 from 1 p.m.

Indigenous people over 16 years of age must have received the booster dose 3 months after taking the second dose. Only such Saudis will be allowed to leave Saudi Arabia. At the same time, Saudis will be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia only if the test result is positive.
