jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the Central Leadership Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, Said Abdullah, gave a signal that PDIP would not be part of the Advanced Indonesia Plus Coalition which is said to be carrying Ridwan Kamil in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Said ensured that PDIP has a candidate to be nominated. Currently, he said that PDIP is researching the figure to be nominated in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

“We are currently working on our own candidate,” Said said in response to media crew at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (5/8).

The legislator from Electoral District XI of East Java said that PDIP is also building communication with other political parties, to be able to work together to nominate candidates in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

However, Said, who is also the chairman of the DPR RI Budget Agency, did not want to mention the name of the party that PDIP is communicating with to be able to nominate a candidate. “Yes, it’s a secret, you can reveal it later,” said Said.

Furthermore, Said also stated that PDIP is relaxed and welcomes the formation of KIM Plus which will carry RK in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

“Yes, it’s natural, what’s there to comment on. When someone does something, PDI Perjuangan will then be angry. Likewise, when PDI Perjuangan does something with the autonomy and sovereignty possessed by PDI Perjuangan, suddenly other parties will be angry, right, not really, it’s normal,” he said.

Previously, Gerindra Party Daily Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said that RK would be supported in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada by a coalition of parties that are members of KIM Plus.

PDIP is currently working on the candidate to be nominated in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. PDIP has confirmed that it is not part of KIM Plus that will nominate Ridwan Kamil.
