jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan DPP, Said Abdullah, said that his party’s 52nd anniversary celebration would take place as scheduled on January 10 even though the secretary general of the red political party, Hasto Kristiyanto, is a suspect at the Corruption Eradication Commission.

“No (resigned, ed) but Friday at 13.30 WIB,” said Said in response to media crew at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (8/1).

He said the celebration of the PDIP’s 52nd anniversary would be held simply and centered at the party office bearing the white snout bull symbol, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta.

Later, said Said, PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri will deliver a political speech which all party officials will listen to online.

“Everyone from the DPP, DPD and DPC went via Zoom, listening to your speech, the General Chairperson’s speech,” said the Chairman of the DPR RI Banggar.

Said said that PDIP administrators in the DPD and DPC then held the event locally after listening to Megawati’s speech.

“Simultaneously create activities according to locality in each region,” he said.

Said said that the celebration of PDIP’s 52nd anniversary was not disturbed even though Hasto was involved in two legal cases at the KPK.

Chairman of the PDI-P DPP, Said Abdullah, said that his party’s 52nd anniversary celebration would not be delayed from the original schedule.
