Penalties for foreigners sponsoring visas for those who leave the country after the expiration of their visitor visa

Kuwait City The Kuwaiti Interior Ministry has said it will impose fines on foreigners who sponsor visas for expatriates. No other visas, including family visas, will be issued to such individuals for 2 years.

The action was taken following a report by the Department of Housing and Immigration that 14,653 people who arrived on visitor visas in the past three years had left the country after their expiration date.
