Pension reform: senators put the gas to examine the bill

In “The Hare and the Tortoise”, Jean de la Fontaine attributes to the shelled reptile a “senator’s train”. The expression remained. But since the start of the examination of the pension reform bill in the upper house, the senator’s train has moved into high gear. After sitting all weekend, then overnight from Monday to Tuesday until 3 a.m., the senators validated the first part of the text, devoted to revenue. Before attacking, just before 7 p.m. this Tuesday, March 7, the examination of the emblematic article 7 which provides for the postponement of the starting age from 62 to 64 years old.
