Investing Rs 75,000 per month in this scheme, the investor will get Rs 3.83 crore at the age of 60. Now if a 25 year old invests Rs 10,000 every month in NPS scheme for 35 consecutive years with 10% return every year, he will get Rs 3,82,82,768 at the end of 60 years. Investing 40% of this total amount in an annuity plan will give him a monthly pension of Rs 76,566. That is, if a 30-year-old invests Rs.16,500 monthly in the NBS scheme, he will get a monthly pension of Rs.75,218.
