Pentagon: Ukraine can completely win the war against Russia

by time news

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said: “Obviously Ukraine can win the war. If you look at what Russia has done so far, Putin has not achieved any of his strategic goals within Ukraine: he has not conquered Kyiv, he has not toppled the government, nor he has damaged its position. Of Ukraine as an independent state. He managed to conquer a small number of population concentrations – and even they were not the ones he really wanted. He withdrew his forces in Kiev and Chernivtsi. He failed to conquer Mariupol.

“This is the daily proof that we see that Ukraine can win this war. The Ukrainians are fighting for their country, and deprived Putin of many strategic victories. So completely – they can win.”

Ukrainian President Zalansky spoke tonight and said the Russian military is changing its tactics and is now hiding the bodies of civilians he killed and removing them from the streets. Zalansky, however, says the Russian military will not be able to evade responsibility for his actions: “There are thousands of people who have disappeared. They have either been deported to Russia or murdered. There is no other option.” Zalansky even claimed that there are thousands killed just within Mariupol.

Zalansky criticized the sanctions against Russia, which he described as weak and encouraging Putin to continue the war: “Some politicians are unable to decide to restrict cash flow to Russia just to protect their economy. But the embargo will be launched – the question is just how many Ukrainians will be killed by the military. Russia until these politicians can find some determination. ”

Zalanski added that “as long as there is no package of powerful sanctions and arms transfers to Ukraine that we really need, the Russians will see it as an authority to continue the war.”
