Popular singer Monir Khan has sung about flood affected people. Gholam Sarwar directed the music and tune of this song with the words of Amirul Islam titled ‘Banyaya manso kende kende mere’.

The song was released on artist Monir Khan’s own YouTube channel MK Music24. Regarding this song, Monir Khan said, ‘In 2007, Alam Ara Minu, Farzana Milli, Golam Sarwar and I sang the song together. Recently, I went to Begamganj of Noakhali and saw the misery of Banvasi people with my own eyes. So I gave the song as a new solo song. Listen to the song. I hope everyone will like it.’

Regarding the song, lyricist Amirul Islam said, ‘The words of this song depict the endless sorrow, suffering, hunger, death, crying and wailing of people affected by flood. It is a humanitarian appeal to people of all walks of life to stand by the side of the afflicted and extend a helping hand to them.’

Music director Golam Sarwar said that some songs talk about life. This is one such song. He also said that he would feel blessed if he could do something for the flood-affected people through this song.
