Honors
As part of the Cäcilia concert in Elsbethen, mayor a. D. Franz Tiefenbacher presented the Elsbethen community’s ring of honor. Tiefenbacher headed the community for 29 years. During his term of office, new buildings such as the municipal office and the senior citizens’ house, kindergarten and children’s playground as well as assisted living were built.
The Silent Night pillory shooters Arnsdorf recently awarded Günther Prochaska the title of “Honorary Captain”. Ten years active as a captain, decades on the board of the association – many of the honoree’s achievements can be listed. Captain Johann Maislinger congratulated his predecessor. Mayor Andrea Pabinger also recognized Prochaska’s commitment to customs with the Lamprechtshausen municipality’s cup of honor.

The Plainfeld Carnival Guild supports social initiatives. This year, 1000 euros were handed over to the Jedermann Pass from Gnigl. People with disabilities take part in the Allesmann Pass – girls and boys who enjoy Alpine customs. This facility has existed for 15 years. The group currently has twelve members and is looked after by the Brugger family from Gnigl. On December 2nd, the Jedermann Pass can be seen at the first run in Gnigl.
