Valsad: A devotional music program was held in Valsad, Gujarat last Saturday. Famous Gujarati folk singer Kirtithan Gadvi sang songs with his band. Thousands of people gathered there were moved by his singing. They took the currency notes and showered them on Gadvi.
People had brought bundles of 10, 20, 50, 100 rupee notes for this purpose. People took each note and threw it towards the stage. As a result, the platform was filled with currency notes. This is common in Gujarat. Moreover, money will rain on Gadvi’s show. Last year, the public showered cash worth Rs 50 lakh on Gadvi’s concert.
About this, folk singer Gadvi said, “This program was organized to protect helpless and sick cows. All the money received through this program will be given to the Chamber.”
