Karur: Due to the lack of a community hall in the Paramathi area, the people are suffering from not being able to hold their home auspicious events.
Many thousands of people live in K. Paramathi. Out of these, 40 percent people are working as wage laborers. There are only two marriage halls in the area. As it is difficult to find mandapas to hold the auspicious events of the people of this region, they often conduct various ceremonies like earring ceremony and marriage in their homes. If not, they are conducting it in rural areas. For this, one has to go to Kodumudi, which is 20 km away.
To conduct auspicious programs in Kodumudi, many thousands of rupees are spent on the hall and the relatives of the people performing the program have to face a lot of difficulty in coming and going.
Poor people who cannot afford to perform auspicious events in mandapams, many people conduct frugal weddings in various temples. However, they lack the space to host receptions and banquets. As a result, the public is forced to decide on the programs after searching for the availability of a mandapam before conducting the wedding and earring ceremony.
Therefore, the public from all walks of life expect that steps should be taken to build a community hall on behalf of the union administration in K. Paramathi so that people from all walks of life can benefit.
