Kalaiyarkoil-People are suffering due to non-functioning ATMs and cash deposit machines. Majority of government employees and traders live in Kalaiyarkoil of Sivagangai district. Although it is a panchayat, it is a city that is eligible for a municipality due to its large expansion area. Indian Bank is operating here. There is a cash withdrawal and deposit machine near the bank. The cash deposit machine is operational only a few days a week. At other times it is in a state of non-operational disrepair and is of no use to anyone. ATMs are unable to withdraw cash in an emergency. Bank management doesn’t see it either. Customers can withdraw and deposit money only during banking hours. The bank management should take steps to make the cash withdrawal and deposit machines fully functional.
