At the House of Culture of the village of Amirjan, under the organization of the Main Department of Culture of the city of Baku, a meeting was held with the professor of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, famous khanende Mansum Ibragimov, the press service of the department told Day.Az. The event was held within the framework of the project “Qonağımız var” (We have a guest).
At the beginning of the event, the national anthem of Azerbaijan was played, and a minute of silence was observed in honor of the blessed memory of the martyrs who gave their lives in the name of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The event spoke about the creative path of the people’s artist. It was noted that Mansum Ibrahimov is a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. He performs with great skill the roles in “Leili and Majnun”, “Ashug Gharib”, “Rock of Brides” and other productions.
Communicating with the guests of the event, Mansum Ibrahimov spoke about work in the theater, the development and promotion of Azerbaijani mugham, and answered questions from the audience.
Next, the mugham group “Qarabağ” under the leadership of Mansum Ibragimov presented the composition “Zəfər nəğməsi”. Khanende performed accompanied by People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Elchin Gashimov (tar) and Honored Artist Elnur Akhmedov (kamancha).
