“He is also an artist so he understands his wife very well, we are not jealous of each other. We came together by fate. My sister married his brother, we met each other when I already had a lover. According to People’s Artist Nhu Quynh, when they have a conflict, her husband always stays silent, waiting until he calms down before explaining it to his wife. In many films, photographer Nguyen Huu Bao goes with his wife to take pictures of the setting, costumes, and actors for documentation, but now his health is not as good as when he was younger, so he rarely goes with her.

“It’s a pity that even though both my parents are artists, my two daughters are not interested in art. I once asked my children to act in movies with me, but they all refused. My eldest daughter, Dan Huyen, is a television editor, and my youngest, Dan Khue, is an interior designer,” People’s Artist Nhu Quynh confided.

When her eldest daughter gave birth, she did not hesitate to go to Da Nang to visit and take care of her grandchild. For her, taking care of her children and grandchildren by herself is a great happiness and meaning in life.
