People’s Artist Tra Giang
People’s Artist (People’s Artist) Tra Giang was born in 1942 in Quang Ngai, her father is Meritorious Artist Nguyen Van Khanh (Khanh Cao), her husband is Meritorious Artist – Music Professor Bich Ngoc, her daughter is pianist Bich Tra.
Being photogenic and having “expressive eyes”, Tra Giang quickly passed the entrance exam and became one of the actors in the first class of the Vietnam Cinema School (now the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema). Many people think that Tra Giang is not a person with a radiant beauty but the more you look at her, the more attractive and captivating she becomes.

She won the Best Actress award three times at the Moscow Film Festival (1973); the 4th Vietnam Film Festival (1977); the 8th Vietnam Film Festival (1988). In 1984, Tra Giang was honored by the State with the noble title of People’s Artist (first batch). Since the 1990s, Tra Giang has rarely participated in cinema. The female artist spends a lot of time on painting.
People’s Artist Minh Chau
Artist Minh Chau was born in 1956 in Thai Nguyen, known as “the beautiful woman of Vietnamese cinema” with big round eyes, delicate features and a bright smile.

The artist entered the film industry in the 1970s and quickly affirmed her acting talent. Her first role was in the film Ben Khong Chong (1976). In the 1980s, she became famous for her roles as Nguyet in the film Co Gai Tren Song and Lien in the film Nguoi Dan Ba Nghien Cat. In addition, she also won a Golden Kite Award for Best Actress for her role as Thuong in the film Bi Thu Tinh Ban (2010).
In addition, People’s Artist Minh Chau also owns many other noble awards such as: Golden Kite (role of Mrs. Thuong in the film Provincial Party Secretary in 2010), Medal for the cause of cinema… In early May 2024, the artist was happy to have just won the Best Actor award at the Las Palmas Film Festival (Spain), with the main role in Cu li khong bao nhat khong khoc by director Pham Ngoc Lan.

Currently, People’s Artist Minh Chau chooses to live a single life after many ups and downs. Her only daughter, Kieu Linh, is living and working in the US, occasionally returning to Vietnam to visit her mother.
People’s Artist Thu Ha
People’s Artist Thu Ha born in 1969 in Tuyen Quang. When Thu Ha was 16 years old, the Military Region 2 art troupe went to recruit actors in the 6 northern provinces. Her neighbor invited her to audition and she passed, starting her relationship with art.
In 1989, Thu Ha was invited by director – People’s Artist Hai Ninh to act in the film Long Tri Festival Night, attracting the attention of the audience for her elegant and luxurious appearance. People’s Artist Minh Hoa was born in 1964 into a family with an artistic tradition in Hanoi. Her father is clarinette and saxophone artist Tran Dinh Giang. Her uncle is cai luong artist Tung Ngoc, and her cousin is saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan.
