Koluthar: The Corporation Park is located at 13th Street, Senthil Nagar, 64th Ward, Koluthar, Thiru.V.K., Nagar Zone, Chennai.
A few months ago, the perimeter wall in a part of the park collapsed. As a result, garbage has accumulated in that area, creating an unsanitary condition.
Also, the other part of the collapsed wall is also unstable and is in the process of collapsing. So, the visitors who come and go for walking practice in the park are scared.
If the heavy rains continue, water will accumulate in the walled area along with garbage and the unsanitary condition will increase. Therefore, the park will become unusable. Even after complaining to the Corporation officials about this, it has not been rectified yet.
If this is the case for the park under the Chief Minister’s constituency, how are they going to maintain it in other areas, the public has expressed dissatisfaction.
Also, they expect to build a perimeter wall for the park.
