The experienced 40-year-old Portuguese was the most voted by the coaches of the competition, having gathered a total of 16.67 percent of the votes. In addition to the Porto player, Mateus Quaresma, Arouca winger, gathered 15.87 percent of the votes and Niakaté, SC Braga centre-back, completed the podium with 15.08 percent of the votes.
