jpnn.comJAKARTA – Nine clubs will appear in the top party of the 2024 KU-17 National Championship which was initiated by Perbasi.
The nine teams are Victoria Jakarta, Aras Jakarta, Aras Banten, GMC Cirebon, Spartan Yogyakarta, Sahabat Semarang, CLS Surabaya, WBS Surabaya and Merpati Bali.
These teams were the best after the U-17 National Championship Qualification which was held in five regions.
Chief Executive of the KU-17 Men’s National Championship Grand Final, Ferri Jufry, revealed that this event was a selection for players for SEABA U-18.
This major event under the auspices of FIBA will take place from 19 to 21 July in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
“The Grand Final of the KU-17 National Championship is one of the player selection events to form the Men’s National Basketball Team in preparation for the SEABA U18 championship,” said Ferri in a written release.
Secretary General of Perbasi Nirmala Dewi hopes that the KU-17 National Championship event can be used well for entry into the Indonesian National Basketball Team.
“Young players make the most of this opportunity to show your abilities that in the future you will indeed be worthy of carrying the nation’s name on the international stage,” he said.
Perbasi held a selection of U-18 National Basketball Team players through the grand final of the 2024 KU-17 National Championship.
