Pergine, church portico knocked down by street sweeper. Company apologizes: “Sorry for the accident”

by time news

The post appeared this afternoon on Amambiente’s Facebook page, after an employee had inadvertently destroyed the portico of the parish church in Pergine Valsugana this morning with a street sweeper.

The company, which deals with essential services of water cycle management, environmental hygiene, public lighting, renewable energy and funeral services, has decided to publicly apologize with a message that we report below:

«We are deeply sorry to announce that this morning one of our machines, working to clean the church square, inadvertently hit a small support pillar of the side entrance canopy, damaging the structure.
Fortunately, no one was hurt and the site was quickly made safe, also thanks to the intervention of the Local Police and the Fire Brigade.
The company guarantees all possible support from now on for a prompt restoration of the artifact.
We offer our apologies to the Community for what happened.”
