Title: Repair Work to Interrupt Water Supply in Tiruchirappalli
The Tiruchirappalli Corporation has announced that the repair work of motor pump sets at the Periyar Nagar collector well water station is scheduled for November 26, 2023. As a result, there will be no supply of drinking water to the areas serviced by the Periyar Nagar Collector Well station, including Thillai Nagar, Anna Nagar, Puttur New, and several others through overhead reservoirs.
The Corporation has assured that normal water supply will resume on November 27, 2023. Corporation Commissioner Vaithinathan has urged the public to use water sparingly and cooperate with the Corporation during this period.
The maintenance work is necessary to ensure the continued supply of clean drinking water to the public. Residents are requested to plan accordingly and conserve water during the temporary interruption in service.
