An MoU was signed so that the students of Periyar University could visit the wind farm and get to know the technical facilities.
The Department of Energy and Science and Technology at Periyar University has signed an MoU with Wind Co India on Friday to improve the quality of education of the students.
In this way, the students will learn the technology in the institute while they are studying and the skills development training, factory visit, job creation etc. will be made available to the students.
The MoU was signed in the presence of R. Balakurunathan, Registrar of Periyar University and Mohammad Farooq, Director of Wind Co India.
Head of Energy Science Department K.A. Ramesh Kumar, Assistant Professors P.Matheswaran, R.Thangappan, Ilangovan, Honorary Lecturers Ganapathi, Janarthanan, Prakash were present.
