In the Perm Territory, the authorities have introduced mandatory QR codes on the availability of vaccination against coronavirus or immunity when visiting sports competitions, theaters, concert halls, cinemas, circus and tourist events. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the press service of the regional administration.

The introduction of codes for fitness clubs, proposed a week earlier, has been postponed for the time being, and these measures did not affect catering either. Over the past day, 473 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the Perm Territory. The total number of people infected in the region has reached 100,590 people, more than 626 thousand people have been vaccinated.

The press service of the government of Udmurtia also reports that following the meeting of the regional headquarters, a decision was made to limit the occupancy of halls and terraces of public catering to 50% from October 29, excluding cases when all visitors have a QR code.

From October 5, spectators can visit mass sports and cultural events, visit theaters, cinemas in Udmurtia only if there is a QR code of a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR result taken no later than 72 hours. In addition, from September 29, mandatory temperature control of visitors should be introduced in shopping centers, restaurants and food courts. The regional government justifies these measures by an increase in morbidity (+229 new cases per day) and an almost complete filling of the bed fund (44 free beds remain in the republic’s hospitals).

On September 27, the Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov introduced QR codes in the region for visiting cultural and leisure facilities and fitness centers.

According to the headquarters, on September 28, in Russia as a whole, a record daily mortality from coronavirus was recorded since the beginning of the pandemic. In 24 hours, 852 people died from the infection. The previous maximum was recorded on September 24 – 828 deaths. The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Russia reached 205,531. During the day, the infection was confirmed in another 21,559 people. The indicator fell below 22,000 for the first time since September 24. Thus, in general, during the pandemic, COVID-19 was detected in 7 464 708 Russians.
