Persib Bandung Appreciates PSSI for Improving Competition Quality

JAKARTA – Persib Bandung has expressed their appreciation for the steps taken by the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) in preparing for the upcoming 2024/2025 Liga 1 competition.
As a regulator, PSSI has been instrumental in realizing the aspirations and proposals of the participating clubs in the upcoming league. These aspirations, conveyed at a football seminar and discussion last year, centered around:
Certainty of the competition schedule
Guarantee of permits for hosting matches
Increased quantity and quality of referees
Implementation of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology
These efforts were lauded by Andang Ruhiat, Vice President of Operations at PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat. He stated, “Persib is grateful for the efforts made by PSSI to improve the quality of the competition that has been ongoing since last season. Additionally, the use of VAR since the championship series last season has been a positive development.”
Andang expressed hope that these measures would continue to enhance the quality of the competition in the upcoming season.
Persib, the defending champion, also affirmed their readiness to compete in the upcoming season.
