jpnn.com – Persib Bandung will have a tight match schedule in the next two weeks. There are at least four matches they have to play until early October.

Not only the League 1 match, Persib is also busy with the AFC Champions League (ACL) 2 competition. Maung Bandung will start their struggle on Thursday (19/9/2024) against Port FC at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency.

After facing Port FC, Persib must immediately focus on facing the big match duel against Persija Jakarta at home, four days later or Monday (23/9/2024).

Dimas Drajad cum suis then visited Madura United FC headquarters on Saturday (28/9/2024) and immediately flew to China to face Zhejiang FC in the continuation of ACL 2, Thursday (3/10/2024).

Persib coach Bojan Hodak complained about the tight match schedule that his team had to face.

Such a short gap between matches, Hodak said, has the potential to cause players to get injured and not perform optimally during matches.

“I don’t know if they changed the schedule or not. So far I haven’t heard anything. I hope they change it because it will make a lot of changes,” Hodak said, Monday (16/9/2024).

According to Hodak, if his team is forced to play a marathon, it is not impossible that many players will be injured. As an alternative, Hodak will inevitably have to field reserve players when they compete in ACL 2.
