jpnn.com – BANDUNG – Persib Bandung team designer Bojan Hodak has not decided to bring in new players in the 2024/25 BRI Liga 1 half-season transfer market.

So far Persib has appeared impressive; 15 matches without losing once. Ten wins, five matches ended in a draw.

This record makes Persib sit in second place in the standings with 35 points, two points adrift of Persebaya Surabaya who is in first place. However, Persib has one match postponed against hosts Bali United.

Even though Maung Bandung’s performance is quite impressive, the club needs additional new ammunition to navigate the remainder of the competition.

Moreover, Persib is certain to lose several players who are suffering from serious injuries, such as Dedi Kusnandar, Febri Hariyadi, and Rezaldi Hehanusa.

Hodak said that he wanted new players to come to strengthen his squad in order to pursue the target of back to back championships. However, Hodak said the club’s transfer decisions currently depend on the team’s financial condition.

“We are still waiting. If you don’t have money, you can’t bring in players. So, I’m still waiting,” said Hodak, Saturday (28/12).

The Croatian coach emphasized that the club’s financial condition was one of the main factors determining Persib’s transfer steps.
