jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib Bandung only brought home one point from the match against Dewa United FC at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Bali.

Having taken the lead twice through Tyronne del Pino’s goal, Persib had to be satisfied with a 2-2 draw in the match held on Monday (19/8) night in the 2nd week of Liga 1 2024/2025.

Despite failing to win, Persib striker Ciro Alves felt quite relieved that his team did not lose in the away match.

“A tough match. For me, we were unlucky. Dewa United has quality players. Persib has also worked hard in the match, we have fought, the most important thing now is not to lose, one point is okay,” said Ciro, Wednesday (21/8).

The Brazilian was in action in the match by providing a keypass to Dimas Drajad before Tyronne finished for the first goal in the 22nd minute.

He then provided an assist for Persib star Tyronne’s second goal in the 48th minute.

Ciro Alves hopes that Persib will forget yesterday’s results and focus on the match in the 3rd week, Sunday (25/8) against Arema FC at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency.

“In the next match we will be back. I also hope David can come back soon and stronger because he is a good player. Now we return to Bandung and focus on the next match,” concluded the owner of the number 77 jersey. (mcr27/jpnn)
