jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib Bandung could not achieve maximum results when playing against Arema FC in the continuation of Liga 1 2024/2025.

Playing in front of their own supporters, Maung were held to a 1-1 draw by Singo Edan in a match that took place at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency, Sunday (25/8/2024).

Persib conceded first through a goal scored by Dalberto Luan Belo in the 39th minute. Dimas Drajad then replied in the 45+7 minute.

Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak said that a draw was better than losing. According to him, his team played a tough match so they were grateful to still be able to get one point.

“It was a tough game, if we don’t win, then no one will be happy. But I think we played better than the game against Dewa and we dominated the game, controlled the game,” said Bojan Hodak.

Dominating the match and being able to control the game, Ciro Alves et al still had difficulty in finishing.

According to Hodak, the absence of Persib’s goal machine, David da Silva, had a big impact on the match against Arema.

The top scorer of last season’s Liga 1 suffered a stomach injury that forced him to be absent. His role was replaced by Dimas Drajad who also appeared quite impressive in this match.
