KOLKATA: Fans’ wish to see Sourav Ganguly play once again at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens has been dashed. This comes after Ganguly, who is also the BCCI president, withdrew from the Legends League due to personal reasons.

It was announced that Ganguly would play in the match scheduled for September 16 between Eoin Morgan’s World XI and Indian Maharajas at the Eden Gardens.

The fans were waiting to see Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and many other former Indian players playing under Ganguly once again.
