Pescara makes another incoming purchase. It is Simone Castigliani, external attacker born in 2003. In the next few days his contract will be deposited. He arrives as a free agent after the unfortunate experiences at Carrarese and Vis Pesaro.
Silvio Baldini and the Pescara medical staff will follow the player in a rehabilitation process, given the cruciate ligament injury and medial meniscus tear suffered in March when he was wearing the Vis Pesaro jersey.
Raised in Lazio, he went through the entire youth system with the Biancocelesti until reaching the Primavera. With the Biancocelesti U-19 he showed off his skills, even under age, before moving to Carrarese in 2022-23. Only 5 appearances in C for him due to a bad injury that, in that case too, ended his season.
After his experience at Vis Pesaro, Castigliani wants to put his injury behind him and start again from a prestigious place like Pescara to have his say also in Serie C. The 2003-born player, who grew up in Lazio, also wants to have his say in “big league football”.
