Pete Hineswho until recently served as vice president of Bethesda, surprisingly announced that he is retiring from the company, where he has been for 24 years. Throughout this time, the developer was in charge of public relations and marketing for such important franchises as Fallout.

He arrived at the company in 1999 and initially he began writing the text of the manuals, to later make the leap as the figure who always went out to speak with companies or journalistic media at official events.

In his letter, published through Twittermentions that he will be dedicating «more time to enjoy life» highlighting that a new chapter in his life will begin. After the release of Starfield he felt the time was right.
