The Head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan, Peter Michalko, expressed condolences over the death of four Azerbaijani servicemen.
The diplomat wrote about this on his account on the social network “X”, Trend reports.
“I express my deepest condolences in connection with the death of four Azerbaijani servicemen while off duty. I convey my deepest condolences to their families, friends and colleagues,” the diplomat added.
It should be noted that on July 30, the bodies of servicemen of the Azerbaijani army were found – Captain Emnaliyev Asif Gahraman oglu, Warrant Officer Jabrailov Farid Famil oglu, servicemen of extended active military service – Sergeant Samedov Tural Mashallah oglu and Sergeant Shakhmarly Emin Ogtay oglu, who, according to the preliminary version, were poisoned while swimming in hydrogen sulfide thermal springs in the Lachin region during off-duty hours.
