Petition in court to adjourn the Higher Secondary Examination

A petition has been filed in the Court of Appeal seeking the adjournment of the GCE Advanced Level Examination to be held in Sri Lanka.

The petition was filed by social activist Nagananda Kodithu.

The petition has been filed seeking adjournment of the examination for 20 weeks, which is scheduled to begin on the 7th of this month.

In this petition, the Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena, the Commissioner General of Examinations L.M.T. Dharmasena and Education Ministry Secretary Kapila Perera have been named as defendants.
