Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced that next Monday will be declared a civic day in honor of the Colombian national team, highlighting its role as a symbol of national unity.

During his visit to New York, where he presented the report on the implementation of the 2016 Peace Agreement to the UN Security Council, the president invited Colombians to celebrate in peace and leave polarization and violence behind.
