SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Petrobras obtained authorization from the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) to resume part of production at the Bahia Terra Hub, the oil company said on Friday.
The company stated that the agency gave approval for production in the Araçás field, according to a statement. The company has already started procedures for the return of operations at the site, which will make it possible to restore 27% of the pole’s production.
The Bahia Terra Pole had its operation paralyzed by ANP determination at the end of last year due to safety issues.
