The Petroleum Corporation has announced that the fuel price has been increased with effect from 2 am.
The price of 92 octane petrol has been increased by 50 rupees per liter and 95 octane 95 liter by 100 rupees per liter.
In addition, the price of a liter of auto diesel has been increased by 60 rupees and the price of a liter of super diesel by 75 rupees.
Accordingly, the new price of a liter of octane 92 petrol will be Rs. 470 and the new price of a liter of octane 95 will be Rs. 550.
The new price of a liter of Auto Diesel will be 460 rupees, while the new price of a liter of Super Diesel will be 520 rupees.
Meanwhile, the Lanka IOC has also increased fuel prices in line with the Sri Lanka Petroleum Corporation’s price hike.
