The Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports (YPAITHA) announced the names of the hired substitute teachers in the context of the Phase VI recruitment.

Analytically

Recruitment of 904 Primary and Secondary Education teachers, in Special Education and Education as well as in General Education, as temporary substitutes, with a fixed-term Private Law employment relationship, for the academic year 2023-2024

The Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports announces that for the academic year 2023-2024 the following are hired as temporary substitutes:

In Primary Education:

(a) 123 teachers of branches/specialties in Special Education and Education (EEA), and

(b) 227 teachers of branches/specialties in General Education.

In Secondary Education:

(a) 152 teachers of branches/specialties in Special Education and Education (EEA), and

(b) 402 teachers of branches/specialties in General Education.

Recruits must present themselves and undertake service from Friday 2 until Monday 5 February 2024.

On the process of placement in school units (for cases where it is required) and taking up service, recruits should refer to the address www.minedu.gov.gr/anaplirotes where the necessary information and clarifications have been posted.

Dates of the 6th Phase of recruitment of substitute teachers:

• Application-Declaration of preferences to OPSYD for placement in school units from those recruited on Wednesday, January 31, 2024

• Deadline for taking up service in the school units from Friday 2 up to and including Monday, February 5, 2024. If they are placed in more than one school unit, the assignment takes place in the school unit where the most instructional hours will be provided.

Deputies will be informed via text message SMS about the school unit taking up duty on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

General instructions for each category of deputy recruitment

• The undertaking of service should is completed by 14.30 of each day that has been designated for service, in order to then carry out the necessary update processing in the ERGANI and Diaygeia information systems.

• Hired substitutes who can enter into a digital contract through it anaplirotes.gov.gr they should have accepted their contract until 14:59 of the same day presented in schools.

– Otherwise, it is not guaranteed that the substitute will be on duty on that particular day.

The supporting documents required

Hired substitutes, when present at the school unit/structure to take up duty, should present the following supporting documents.

Certificates of Identification

Copies of the supporting documents of the standard qualifications for joining the industry

An opinion from a pathologist or general practitioner, whether public or private, which certifies the health of the teacher and the ability to exercise teaching duties or the member of the E.E.P.-E.B.P. to exercise supporting duties respectively

A psychiatrist’s opinion, either public or private, which certifies the health of the teacher and the ability to carry out teaching duties or the member of the E.E.P.-E.B.P. to exercise supporting duties respectively
