Phil Collins, along with Genesis bandmates Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford, have sold a package of music rights for the band and their individual projects to Concord Music Group, the record label said. The band is behind hits like “Land of Confusion” and “I Can’t Dance” among many others.

According to reports, the deal is worth over $300 million. Concord has been involved in Collins and Genesis projects since 2017. The deal excludes Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett, who were members of the band in its early days, according to the label. After Gabriel and Hackett left, Genesis released an album called “And Then There Were Three”. Gabriel, who has become a solo star in his own right, was the vocalist and driving artistic force behind Genesis in the band’s early days in the 1970s. During that time, he released classic albums like The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

Collins, Genesis’ drummer and lead singer, has also had an extensive career as a solo performer that includes songs such as “In The Air Tonight”, “Against All Odds” and “Sussudio”. The band’s guitarist and bassist Mike Rutherford fronted the band Mike and the Mechanics, made famous by the 1980s hit “All I Need Is a Miracle.” Banks, the keyboardist, has released six solo albums of his own.
