The Belgian coach of AS Monaco believes in the chances of his team to overcome the obstacle PSV Eindhoven in the preliminary round of the Champions League on Tuesday.
Monegasque coach Philippe Clément, announces that he wants a team that will do “everything to win” Tuesday evening, in the 3rd preliminary round of C1, against Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s PSV Eindhoven, “excited” to achieve “the dream” that represents the group stage: “They have proven their quality. We knew it. PSV is a great collective and an important offensive force. Scoring five goals on the field of Ajax (5-3, in the Dutch Supercup, editor’s note) is a great performance. But we are determined to beat this team. I don’t know what plan Eindhoven will adopt. But we are going to play to win. Like always. Against Paris, Rennes or Marseille, we have always played to win. I want a team of winners, who do everything to win. I’m not a coach who wants to play defensively.”
