Philips Hue line gets new Festavia string lights

by time news

Today, Signify Lighting announced the new Festavia series of lights, Philips Hue’s pre-holiday collection.

The Philips Hue Festavia String Lights contain 250 small smart bulbs on a 20m cord that can be used on a Christmas tree, ladder, shelf, and more.

Like other Hue products, Festavia lights can be set to over 16 million colors, and a single filament supports multiple colors for a gradient effect. Festavia bulbs are HomeKit compatible and pair well with other Philips Hue products.

Control the lights, Siri, Hue apps and Home apps. The lights can be turned on or off, dimmed or changing colors. With Spotify integration, lights can be set to blink, dim, and brightness to match a song.

With the introduction of Festavia lights, the Hue of the Strand gets a shimmering glow effect, and there’s also a new diffuse option that randomly scatters five colors across the light string.

The Festavia bulbs cost $160 and launch on November 15th. Philips Hue website.
