Photoism, operated by Seobuk Co., Ltd., will showcase various K-photo contents at Korea House in Paris, France from the 25th of last month to the 11th of this month. Korea House is a ‘comprehensive promotional center for the Republic of Korea’ operated by the Korea Sports Council to promote K-culture and support the national team for visitors to the Paris Olympics and local tourists.

Photoism, the official sponsor of the Korea Sports Council (KSOC), is showcasing new content combining ‘photos, IP, and tech’ at Korea House. Photoism has become popular content within the house, with over 10,000 customers visiting in just four days after the opening of Korea House.

First, visitors who complete an online reservation through the official website of Korea House will first encounter Photoism’s photo card printing platform ‘Snapism’ at the entrance of Korea House. Through Snapism, customers will receive an AD photo card with their photo printed on it and then use it to enjoy various Photoism contents within the house.

Snapism is a new service from Photoism that provides photo card printing using portrait IPs of characters, sports stars, etc., as well as the production and printing of ‘my own photo cards’ that users create themselves. It is scheduled to be launched in the second half of this year.

The ‘Photoism Zone’ in the Grand Gallery, which is a connected space, has a ‘Player Photo Booth Zone’ where you can take pictures with the 143 national athletes from 21 sports participating in the Paris Olympics, and a ‘Cheering Photo Board Zone’ where you can leave messages of support for the athletes.

The ‘Cheer Photo Board Zone’ was filled with photos from numerous visitors and cheering messages for the national team, as if it were a direct copy of Korea’s four-cut photo culture. Photoism also showcased player frames of 39 sports and 867 athletes at the last Hangzhou Asian Games.

On one side of the Grand Gallery, Photoism will be operating ‘motion recognition-based photo game content’, which is the first of its kind in the industry. In commemoration of the Paris Olympics, visitors can participate in motion recognition-based challenges for various Olympic sports such as taekwondo, archery, weightlifting, table tennis, and horizontal bars through Photoism’s photo kiosk, and the moment they are enjoying the game will be automatically recognized and captured as a photo. In addition, customers who successfully complete the mission will be given donation coins that can be used to participate in the ‘Go for It’ donation campaign, adding to the fun and meaning.

In the garden inside Korea House, a ‘K-POP WORLD’ booth will be operated where you can take pictures with K-POP artists. You can take pictures with famous domestic entertainment companies and more than 35 teams of artists that Photoism has IP contracts with, so visitors to Paris, France, the center of the K-POP craze in Europe, are flocking there.

Photoism CEO Kim Min-seok said, “The new content combining “photography, IP, and tech” that Photoism showed at this Korea House is the first step toward leaving customers with more valuable and special memories, beyond simply providing a photo-taking experience.” He also expressed his aspirations, saying, “Photoism is the only national brand that is creating a new market by breaking away from the existing unmanned photography market. We will continue to innovate so that we can establish ourselves as a global entertainment platform.”

Meanwhile, Photoism is also actively advancing into the European market by participating in the Paris Olympics Korea House. Starting with the opening of a store in Munich, Germany in September, it is preparing to open stores in major European countries. Photoism currently operates over 700 stores in 17 countries worldwide, including Korea.
