The mayor of Recoleta, Fares Jadueinaugurated The first Popular Funeral Home, located next to the General Cemetery.

The requirements to access these values are:
- Living in the Recoleta commune
- Have the Social Registry of Households
- Have a funeral quota
In addition, the municipality highlighted that the Popular Funeral Home has special services for senior citizens with special-sized coffins, as well as niches and cremations.
