Köln – From badass cop to stubborn princess…
Pia Stutzenstein (33, “Cobra 11”) will be on stage in the Kalk community center from Thursday evening. In the theater adaptation of Puccini’s opera “Turandot”, Pia not only plays the main character of the king’s daughter, but also a supporting role – which only speaks “op Kölsch”!
“That was my idea to differentiate myself better from the first character and to give the whole thing more lightness,” Pia told BILD. “Here in the Eifel, everyone speaks Platt and I lived in Cologne for ten years. It was a lot of fun.”
“Turandot” will be performed daily at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday through January 22. Admission free, donations welcome.
