Pierre Arditi left by Évelyne Bouix, this “bad dream” which assails him “every day”

by time news

Guest of Léa Salamé this Saturday February 3, 2024 on the set of Quelle époque!, Pierre Arditi opened up to the presenter about his relationship with Évelyne Bouix. Very much in love, the actor admits to very often having one fear in particular, and which he dreams of every night: that the actress will leave him for someone else. A confidence that he tells with humor, not without reminding us that “it’s really annoying!”

Pierre Arditi reveals his recurring nightmare concerning his wife Evelyne Bouix

“Right now it’s horrible because I dream every day that she decides to leave me.” The actor, who has lived alongside Évelyne Bouix for almost 40 years, does not seem to take his relationship for granted. On the set of What a Time!, he explains: “Yes, it’s a nightmare, and what’s more, the guys she’s hanging out with are abstract! […] She leaves with guys I’ve never seen in my life, who seem very, very stupid, I don’t really see what she can have to do with these guys! I don’t see why I can be left for that, that’s it, but that’s how it is.” If the actor looks back on this episode with irony, he does not forget to point out that this nightmare really pains him. “It hurts me,” he said. And he wants to clarify things: “Don’t worry, that didn’t happen. It’s not going to happen anytime soon, I’ll make sure of it!”

Évelyne Bouix, important support for the actor

At the end of last year, while sharing the stage with Muriel Robin for the play Lapin, Pierre Arditi suffered a bout of illness. In an interview for Gala, the 79-year-old actor talks about the role his wife played in this episode: “In tough times, Évelyne is exceptional! She is a force of nature, she is my rock! She takes everything in stride. I blindfold myself and let myself be guided by her, always and all the time.” The actress, at the same time, specifies that she was “very, very scared”. If nothing has changed between them, she confesses: “I was just afraid that he would be very unwell and that our life would be more complicated. He is above all a man of the theater, a man of the public. He likes people, he likes being on stage, even if he says he wants to do things with me. I was afraid that it would be amputated.”
